BPL proudly presents the event ‘Test Your Wits’!!! The platform has been set for
all the tech-zeolots, who can think out of the boundaries and transform their ideas
into codes. Gear up yourself to compete with the finest of thinkers from the furthest
corners of the country.
"Test Your Wits" is an event which tests your aptitude and coding skills. So put
on your thinking caps and be ready to compete with the best.
Details
Problem Statement:
This is an individual event (There will be no teams), open for all branches.
The event Consists of 2- Rounds.
Round 1
A pen-and-paper test on basic programming skills and aptitude. Top 40-50% from the
first round will be selected for second round. Time duration: 20 minutes
Round 2
You should write the code for given questions and execute your code(Program). The
top 2 individuals will be awarded with Merit Certificates.
Rules and regulations :
- Open for all branches.
- It is an individual event (No teams).
- Prerequisites: Basic (C/ C++) coding.
Judging Criteria for Round 2 :
- The deciding factor will be the number of questions solved ‘correctly’ along with
the ‘time complexities’ (time taken to execute the test cases successfully) of the
solutions proposed.
- If you write the code for specified conditions for the given problem (i.e. if the
program works for only a few test cases) then the evaluation is made on the basis
of how many test cases your program is working for.
- The time taken to solve a problem will also be taken into consideration in case
of a tie and also the number of submissions.
Requirements:
- A4 size papers 50(approx)
- Computer lab( Systems Consists of pre-requisites of c/c++ software installed)
- A Designed flexi regarding details of the event.
